Looking at this case, I can definitely see how it kind of fell into cold case territory because everything just was so late, unfortunately.

And it feels like her case kind of just got forgotten a bit.

And it found that Tracy was likely dead and that she died at the hands of someone else.

But there was not enough evidence for charges.

When you looked at those findings, was there anything else that jumped out at you?

So he wasn't known because he was in quite a small town.

He wasn't known as being the bad guy.

He was kind of hiding.

To kind of expand on that, in 2017 there was a public appeal on what would have been Tracey's 45th birthday.

And someone did come forward with some pretty damning information.

Can you tell us about that and what came of it?

Because it has been over 30 years and I know that Sharon told you that one of her biggest fears is dying without having answers, which is something you hear from a lot of people
