It very much seemed like he was the sort of voice of reason when Ashley was like sort of cooking up these like, you know, cockamamie schemes.

You know, he seemed to be when he had this like, obviously like very intense flirtation with Eunice.

He felt really guilty about it.

being the naive voice of reason.

And also, you know, he wasn't working when she was, like, grounded, you know, but, like, I do think he's, like, there are a bunch of his line readings that suggest that he's, like, more savvy.

There's a bunch of stuff that suggests that he's not a complete rube, you know what I'm saying?
