this week on it.
And it seems some of the experts in the US
kind of think that it's going to be hard for them to get a conviction now why would that be the case so apparently they would use all the same evidence so the kennel video which is devastating to Alex's story the cell phone data which puts him in the area at the time of the murder the vehicle movement his lies to the police and then obviously the financial pressure and the motive there and
The defence apparently would now focus heavily on reasonable doubt and jury bias.
So they will say the original investigation was sloppy.
No murder weapons were ever recovered.
There's no blood evidence directly tied to Alec.
And that investigators became obsessed with Alec too early and didn't look at other sources.
possible motives in this case.
So it's going to be apparently one of the biggest, biggest retrials in modern America.
It's going to cost the state millions and millions and it could be next year before they head back into the courtroom.
