Yeah, man, I was done pretty much before I went to England.

Having COVID in England, not having COVID, but the lockdowns in England set me back a long way because I was stuck at home with three kids, couldn't get physio, couldn't do the work, and you start drinking, and I was done.

When I tried to get back to play after that, I was in all sorts, and my hip was properly fucked.

So I had like no cartilage left in my hip.

So I used to bang right footstep all the time.

And I used to just hammer it.

So my cartilage, my hip bone was like growing knobbly bits of bone.

And it was like rubbing bone on bone.

Painful.

Some of the worst pain you get.

And I was in agony with it most of the time.

I was taking all of the pain shit that you can think of.

And I got, I just got to the point where I'd had enough and I had to go get, I got a metal hip burn.

Full metal.

And no one had ever tried to play after getting this surgery.
