How could you do that to me?
And as soon as you take this position, I truly think you're dishonoring God.
Because once you get to a place where you're like, how could you do this to me?
Look what I've done for you.
You have then for forgotten what your Lord has done for you on the cross and an unrepentant heart.
A lot of people actually get mad at me for this.
When I'm talking to somebody who has like a broke relationship with their father or a mother or maybe a sibling thing or all these things.
And I always try to push on them to get together.
And some people don't like the idea of forgiving somebody, even for evil, evil sins.
But I want to remind you, our thoughts are our thoughts, but the Lord thoughts are greater than ours.
And when I read his thoughts, he says that if you have an unrepented heart, I won't even hear your prayers.
We'll not hear it.
The gospel makes it very clear.
Before you come and kneel and ask, and if you have sorrow in your heart, if you have something that you have to go repent over, go deal with that first and then come back here.
Because it's kind of like this parable of a king who forgives a man of his debts instead of beating him or putting him in jail.
And that man, instead of going back to his debtors and saying, wow, man, what a good day.
The king forgave me.
Let me forgive you.
That guy, same guy who's shown grace, goes to his debtor and beats the brakes off of him and says, give me my money.
Then the soldiers here and they go back to the king and they go, king, do you know what happened to that guy that you let go of?
