Because a father produces the same fruits that the son does.

So if you are so quick to take vengeance and to shed blood on your own time and schedule, then you're not the son of God, you're the son of Satan.

And by the way, I don't say that in judgment.

I do that shit all the time.

My father on earth raised me to beat the shit out of somebody who disrespects me.

And then I grew up and I have to read the gospel and I'm like, oh, vengeance is not in my hands.

But I do want to say something to give you a lot of courage.

There's a gospel verse that my mom used to read to me.

She goes, if you stand next to God, God will take your enemies and make them your footstool, which means you'll be so comfortable that you'll kick your feet up on your enemies while you're talking to God.

Now, I don't mean that in a disrespectful way where you should take your enemies, put them on their knees and put your foot on their heads.

But I'm saying that eventually if you trust God, God will stand for you.

My mom used to say this to me, man, my mom has some heavy hitter one-liners.

And I pray that this stays with you.

And I pray that you guys pass this along.

If you kneel for God, which when you kneel for God, you're praying, right?

If you kneel for God, God will stand for you.

And if God will stand for you, who could stand against you?

So instead of looking at your enemies and saying, you know what, God, I'm tired of watching you give him prosperity while I'm suffering.

I'm going to step up front of you and I'm going to deal with this because obviously you're not punishing this man.
