No, sometimes problems bring out a lot of good things.
For example, the gospel says you should rejoice in your struggles.
Why?
Because we learn from them.
We grow from them.
We become stronger.
When you're working out a muscle, you have to literally tear the muscle and rebuild and grow the muscle, right?
So I think that's a good reflection of how we feel when we're on a path that God wants us to be.
If you go read the gospel, there's a lot of people that look up at God and they question, hey...
Am I doing the right thing?
This is where my confidence leaves, right?
I'm going to keep walking.
And if the Lord shuts the door, then I praise him.
If he opens the door, then I praise him.
I know that God is directing my feet.
So as long as I'm obeying him and I'm being true to what he thinks is true, as long as I'm not selling my soul for money or for power or for lust, then I know that I'm walking in the right direction.
But that's something that you have to come to God and say, hey, Lord, I'm going to need you to reveal to me because you're going to need faith.
Like a lot of people don't like to go into the industry because they think the devil runs it.
I never had that fear.
I don't think the devil runs anything.
