But I also think I have responsibility, that I have a platform, that I should speak in a way that's easy for people to hear.
I'll give you one example.
I was standing and doing stand-up and 2,000 people are in front of me, but one man, I could see he got hurt when I used the bad word.
And that really broke my heart because yes, 2000 people loved it.
And that one guy didn't.
But in my brain, I was like, man, if I just chose not to use that word, then everybody in the room would have felt comfortable to listen to what I was saying.
So I guess in my point in my life right now, the reason I'm trying to fix my mouth isn't because I think it's a sin.
It's because I think
everybody around me sees it as a sin and so I want to cater myself to what they are understanding of so kind of like what Paul says what I am with the strong I'll make myself strong when I'm with the weak I'll make myself weak so if I'm with a bunch of hooligans from the street and they're not watching their mouth and I really want to you know dance with them if I feel that if I'm
If I swear in this room, it's not gonna affect.
In fact, they might even relate to me.
But if I'm with my elders and they have a young child in the room, I would refrain from saying some certain types of words.
That's where I am in my life.
That's what I'm reflecting right now in my life.
I pray that if I'm wrong, that God corrects me.
Uh, and then I keep moving forward, but yeah, that's kind of where I'm at right now.
I think it's the posture of my heart because I truly in my heart, and I would love to debate this with people, but say, I don't say the F word, but I really tear somebody down, not using any bad words.
I don't think the Lord would be like, okay,
Thank goodness he didn't cuss at the guy.
No, it's like, bro, you use your mouth and you cut somebody down and you hurt them.
