And, um, and so just being open to your kids and again, like getting to know them, right.

And having these conversations and not being afraid and not being awkward, like.

Don't tease your daughter about boys.

That's the dumbest thing you can do.

What you're communicating to your daughter is that you're not a safe person to have a conversation about relationships with.

So when she actually is in a serious conversation, you're the last place she's gonna turn to.

Just be a real person.

If it comes up naturally,

have a conversation, ask questions.

But I think a lot of times we just do the most and turn our kids away accidentally.

I think a lot of it's well-intentioned, but really it just comes down to genuine curiosity in who this human is becoming and a genuine interest in their life and their character.
