Um, so Karen Reid's lawsuit in November, 2025, she sued Michael Proctor, um, Massachusetts state police investigators, Brian and Nicole Albert, Jennifer and Matthew McCabe and Brian Higgins.

She alleges misconduct, conspiracy and violations of her rights.

So that case was later moved from state court to federal court.

Um,

Now, there's a defamation lawsuit against Karen Reid by Jennifer McCabe, Brian Albert, Colin Albert and Brian Higgins.

They're suing Karen Reid and a blogger for defamation because they claimed that Karen and this blogger deliberately promoted false accusations that they killed John O'Keefe and participated in a cover up.

Yeah, and I think they did manage to, you know, paint a really beautiful picture of him in court of his dedication to his children and, you know, taking them on.

And I think sometimes...

In these trials, we can kind of see the victim slandered.

And I don't think that he was.

And it was kind of nice that he was kept out of, you know, the slinging that was going on between all of the parties.

Now, just to be clear, all of the people inside the house have said that they never saw John O'Keefe and they deny having anything to do with his death whatsoever.

But I would say that this is not the last that we've heard of Karen Reid.

Yeah, I really, I don't think she did it.

No.

And I know we were talking, you know, a couple of weeks ago or maybe it was last week on how good lawyers and people at the centre of these things are at rewriting facts or, you know, creating a story to make you feel a certain way.

You know, maybe...

Maybe the group of people in the house, you know, were just taking orders from the top down, like delete your calls, delete your text messages, throw your phones away because they could find something that could put you in the centre of this when we had nothing to do with it.

But at the end of the day...

John O'Keefe died in the cold that night.
