Who knows?
I'm talking about all the speculation that we've heard just in the past couple of months alone as to what's going to happen.

However, what can we do amongst all of this noise to prepare for what may or may not happen?
Mortgages, savings, energy bills, should we be fixing?
What should we be doing?

The additional rate of tax, like inheritance tax, was meant to be something for the super wealthy, a tiny proportion of people to pay it.
More and more, can we say ordinary folk are being pulled into the net?
Some new data, though, has come from HMRC showing that in just a two-year period,
So between the 2022-23 and 23-24 tax years, the number of taxpayers in the 45% bracket rose 57%.
Now either a heck of a lot of rich people moved to the UK in that time and started paying tax.
I think this might be fiscal drag.
