Don't be splurging in the service station.
Just have your snacks along the way.
So you're not depriving anybody, but you're just not paying the huge prices.
And then you can afford to splash out on dinner.
So, you know, look for places along the way that are cheaper to eat in.
Our supermarkets are, as I said, but stay away from the service stations because they're designed to catch you.
They make their money on snacks, not on fuel.
Again, you can click and avoid tolls on Google Maps.
And if you're on holidays, you may want to do that.
You may want to go off the beaten track and just explore the area.
So if you don't need to use the toll road, don't.
But then again, if you're actually just going on a destination, then it makes more sense probably to just get on the toll.
You'll get there quicker because you don't want to waste time on your holiday either.
Now, the thing about it is you're better off getting one of those tags if you don't have them.
And if you're somebody who doesn't use tolls often, you're still better off getting a tag.
Obviously, if you're using the M50, it's cheaper with a tag.
But also in terms of just getting through the tolls, you're not going to be delayed, you know, with waiting for people behind looking for change or pulling out debit cards or whatever.
you can use the express lane.
So that does make life an awful lot easier.
But just decide again, it's a balance between do I want to get there in a hurry or do I want to just see the scenic routes?
