I mean, it's a really, really important guy.
I must admit, Collingwood, Reside, who at the start of the year I had some concerns, everyone had some concerns about, didn't we?
We all had some concerns about whether...
where their age demographic was, were they challenging, weren't they challenging.
Even this week, they start up against Port this week, Gerard, and the odds are well and truly in Collingwood's favour by the sporting people, the sports bets and the betting companies.
They're all saying Collingwood are clear favourites.
I'm not seeing it quite like that.
I'm not seeing this as an absolute easy Collingwood victory over Port.
It may play out to be that because Port haven't won many, but by G, Port have been very good.
in lots of games with a really healthy percentage, they get Port this week.
And if, you know, all the things that you've spoken about, if they lose to Port this week, they can surrender this year, can't they?
I think they can almost wipe their hands for this year because their draw after that, Richmond, Suns away, North Melbourne, Carlton, Crows away, you know, Geelong.
West Coast away, Hawthorne and Brisbane Lions.
So they've got four or five of the top five on the ladder that they're going to have to play in the last 10 rounds.
And they need to be better than 50-50 to get there.
You know, they have to be better than 50-50.
So it's a big journey.
But, you know, the stuff that you talked about β
Managing exiting players, retiring players, champion players, not just players, champion players.
Having a look into the future and seeing what some of the younger players are.
