The Cuban government is dismissing the U.S.
government's indictment of former President Raul Castro on murder and other charges as a farce.
The announcement came Wednesday in Miami.
Raul Castro is now 94 years old.
The Justice Department's indictment charges him for his alleged role in the 1996 shoot down of two civilian planes operated by a Miami based exile group.
