The Trump administration's immigration crackdown has moved to Charlotte, North Carolina.
Border Patrol agents began making arrests this weekend in the city's immigrant corridors, as Nick DeLaCanal of member station WFAE reports.
The Homeland Security Department says the surge is aimed at ensuring public safety, but Charlotte's Democratic mayor says it's causing unnecessary fear and uncertainty.
The surge drew several hundred protesters to a city park, but there have been no major clashes.
President Trump is cutting ties with Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.
