President Trump's decision to deploy ICE agents to support TSA operations at the nation's airports amid the homeland security shutdown is drawing fire from Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer.
Schumer speaking on the Senate floor Tuesday as Republicans are seeking to move ahead with a proposal to fund DHS except for immigration enforcement operations.
Schumer indicated progress but declined to say whether Senate Democrats would back the deal as is.
