Thousands of truck driving schools could be forced to close after review by federal regulators.

The wintry weather in Illinois led to a ground stop Monday evening at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.

The Federal Aviation Administration says the ground stop was issued due to snow and ice after more than eight inches fell at the airport over the weekend.

President Trump says West Virginia National Guard member Sarah Backstrom is dead.

Trump made the announcement this evening during his Thanksgiving call to U.S.

troops.

Beckstrom was 20 years old.

She was one of the two West Virginia Guard members who were shot in Washington, D.C.

Wednesday in what officials call a targeted attack.

The suspect is in custody and has been identified as an Afghan national who came to the U.S.

during the Biden administration.
