But I think that's a decision that I'll have to make along with the party closer to the next election.

I think it's really impossible to say one way or another if it would have gone that way.

I know in particular in Dublin Central, being a local is a really important issue for a lot of people that are voting, which I didn't have because I'm from Clondalkin.

A lot of the meetings that I held were in relation to disability services, assessment of need.

Lack of S&A places, lack of school places, cost of living, the lack of financial supports for the disability community.

There was a lot of anger in the people that I was talking to just feeling like the most vulnerable members of our society aren't being protected, they're not being looked after.

And there's a lot of anger and upset of feeling almost forgotten by government.

Yeah, there was a piece in the Sunday Independent on how a lot of the elderly people and the people that rely on the old age pension are struggling to essentially afford to do anything outside the home once their bills are paid.

You know, people are stuck at home.

They're feeling quite lonely.

They can't do the same activities they used to because of the rate of inflation.

Even, for example, one thing that a lot of people would have enjoyed was Bloom.

And it says here that the prices for over 65s

have risen from €22.20 three years ago to €33.75 this year.

So for a lot of elderly people or people, I suppose, living on a limited budget, it's just out of reach now to go and enjoy it.

So I think there's a concern here that due to this, we're going to see a knock on effect in relation to both physical health and mental health in our elderly population.
