Right.
So my dad wasn't going to define her as a loser.
She would define who she was.
And to me, that's why it was a celebration of my mom, not a sad story, that, you know, to show people that you have power when you have nothing else.
My mom had power when she had nothing else.
And that's why I wanted to start there.
Ursula and I know each other well.
I mean, it's an interesting, it does set a bar for what a bad thing is.
Because later in life and in work, things would happen that are bad.
And I think to myself, oh, I know what bad is.
This isn't bad.
I've seen bad before.
And, you know, none of this is bad compared to what bad can really be.
You're really going back in time here.
Okay.
So, and all this will come out to some lessons here.
I did, I went to Northwestern in Chicago.
I applied to exactly two schools.
That was all I could afford to apply to.
One I knew I could get into and one I hoped I could get into.
