You know, he's probably going to play.
And, you know, Sean Payton, this is why he's getting the big bucks.
This is where you got to try to figure out, like, what are we going to do and how are we going to do it and how are we going to keep our team focused and believing that we can win this game?
Have you seen an improvement from Drake May and Cale Williams from last year to this year?
They're teaching them how to play professional football.
They're putting them in good situations, calling plays, and always reminding them, don't turn the ball over.
Don't worry about taking the check down.
Make sure you read the defense.
This is what we see.
You know, it's a connection.
It's a person-to-person connection.
And hopefully and thankfully you have somebody that actually knows what they're talking about when they're calling plays.
When I got to Cincinnati and I sat in that first meeting room, I couldn't believe some of the things that were being said and how we were running an offense and how we were describing a defense to our offensive players.
I thought I was in like a PhD class on offense.
I had never heard some of these concepts before.
And I'm sitting there listening to Kenny Anderson, Turk Shoner, Chris Collinsworth, Anthony Munoz, Max Montoya, Rodney Holman talking about these things.
I'm like, what are they talking about?
I didn't even know what the hell they were talking about.
And thankfully, I had a coach that believed in me and put me in charge of that offense a couple years in.
And he always knew how to get the best out of me.
