Then he goes into this whole thing about how, yes, the Dodgers have rich ownership, but it's their TV deal.
It sets them apart more than any other team.
And so he says it's that, but he also says playing for the Dodgers is second to none based on conversations he's had with others that have been out there.
I don't think it is a level playing field.
But you are right.
It's not like they just outspend everybody.
We talk about that all the time with the Dodgers.
They do everything exceptionally well.
And then he went into player development and the stadium and the front office, and that's just a great place to be.
So whatever.
That's where he decides to go.
Closer to home, there's this idea that maybe coming to the Mets or the Yankees or this area is not so great anymore.
The Mike Francesa podcast went in that direction.
I mean, New York has made me so happy.
And everybody knows how I'm the happiest man out there.
Everybody says, Mike, you're so nice.
You're so kind.
Why are you so happy?
And it's because of New York.
And I could never leave here because it makes me so happy.
