Well, after this past year, yeah.
I mean, I think...
Prior to, and I know that Juan Soto got the most money, but the Mets, after that year, that special year that they had, everything was going right.
They go to the NLCS.
They just have this great feeling around them.
April and May was going great.
Yeah.
So then it was more of a destination.
But right now, after that season, and now they're getting rid of these guys that had been there for a long time, and you hear Soto and Lindor not getting along.
Now it seems terrible.
But if this team somehow has another season where they're back in the NLCS...
Or Soto wins an MVP and they go and win the division, which right now are Met fans laughing at with the way the offseason has gone.
But if that does happen, then they feel like a better team to come to.
Man, I just think of the moments two years ago, the OMG stuff, the home run in Milwaukee, beating the Phillies.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
As good a couple of weeks as they've had in a while.
It was great, man.
And there was so much energy and so much excitement around that team.
And then they add Juan Soto.
