And I think any coach will, but especially him because, you know, he knows now what the Giants need.
And I would think that he would put every ounce of energy into this job to get this thing turned around.
Because that's, for me as a guy that is trying to look for a coach or interview a coach or a general manager, I just want to know the guy's going to work.
I want to know that he's going to work his ass off, he's going to hold his coaching staff accountable, and he's going to hold the players accountable.
Now, there's different ways of doing that.
You could do it by the way that Brian Davell tried to do it, keep it in-house and just find guys.
Or you could do exactly what Mike Kafka did when he finally took over and say, enough's enough.
We're sitting you down, and then you can answer to the press as to why I'm sitting you down.
The other thing to remember is that coaches get paid a lot of money.
There's a lot of stress that goes along with these jobs.
I'm not saying it is.
But you could see guys getting comfortable after 10, 12, 14, 15 years that, hey, you know, we're going to have a couple down years back to back.
And the owner is going to say, wait a minute, Tom, how much am I paying you?
You're not here anymore.
I need to get somebody else in here.
I need a fresh set of eyes.
I need some new juice in the building.
