First, I get you to Kyle Hamilton.
Yep, but now I was going to try and do it with the Giants.
Here was Mark Andrews who had nothing but thanks for Harbaugh.
And then you've got wide receiver Zay Flowers in terms of his reaction.
um appreciate that he came and got me and um and we did what we did and the audio tells the story but i'll tell you watching these guys you can really tell they seemed like this came out of left field for them um just like their facial reactions when they were asked about a hardball andrews actually opened his press conference without a question by talking about him first here was now you turn the page to jesse mentor the new head coach this is flowers it's new um it's young we got a young coaching staff and
Yep, and then here's Andrews on their new head coach.
I'm sorry, Jerry.
The other interesting thing about this is Lamar Jackson is participating in OTAs, which he hasn't done in past years.
And one of the reasons probably for that, he wants to ingratiate himself to the new coaching staff and show the Ravens that he's committed this year.
But he's going to find himself in the same situation next year that Dexter Lawrence finds himself in this year with the old potential out.
And what the potential out is, just so everybody understands, is that players get almost all of their guaranteed money until the potential out year.
And then after that potential out year, if the player stays on the contract, there's no more real guaranteed money left unless they make the opening day roster and then they play and then they get their salary.
You see what I'm saying?
So that's where Dexter Lawrence is right now.
That's why Dexter Lawrence is trying to get a new contract or wants to be traded to get a new contract because โ
He's at the potential out spot in his contract.
And next year at this time, it will be Lamar Jackson.
Now, you would think, you know, why hasn't Baltimore offered Lamar Jackson a new contract?
