Briefly going off topic, I attended an event at Pirelli's, was it the Turkish factory in late 2010 once they had the deal.
And once we'd had Canada and it was all this talk about, oh, Bernie wants high degradation tyres.
One of the big, big Pirelli bosses.
I think he might still be there now.
Yeah.
did a press conference and he got asked, are you going to make these like tyres that fall apart?
And he said, absolutely not.
You know, we don't come in to make a product that's, you know, looks, you know, makes our road car products look bad.
And he went, you know, our tyres will be robust.
They'll be strong, blah, blah, blah.
And obviously that didn't happen at the start of the year.
And I always wondered, was it because they were asked to make high degradation tyres or was it because that's all they could produce in time for the start of 2011?
