The winners of last year's offseason were the Mets and the Diamondbacks.
The Mets got Soto.
The Diamondbacks got Corbin Burns and Josh Naylor.
Neither team made the playoffs.
I understand that.
All I'm saying is that as we sit here, it's crazy to think.
It's not only crazy to think that we can't get super jacked up over every single major transaction because we're all exhausted by it.
and also exhausted by the rumors and the guessing, yes, guessing, like we're exhausted, but also we're sitting here and we still can't define who is actually having the best offseason.
Oh, there was some of that already.
There was some of that already.
Some of what?
Some of taking the sting away from the Bregman stuff.
First of all, let's look at what every team is going to do.
If we're going to say, how would you win the offseason if you were these teams?
I'm not talking about the Sacramento A's.
I'm not talking about these other teams.
I'm talking about the heavy hitters who've already state claimed and said, we're going to fish in the deep end of the pool.
I mean, no one fishes in pools, but whatever.
So for Toronto, you want to win the offseason, you get Kyle Tucker.
You win.
