It's not this.
Whereas you look at, and that's the business area, like Leinster is still a little bit rigid, whereas you're looking at the other teams, Bordeaux, you look at Toulon to a certain extent, just attacking where they, you know, much freer, much simpler.
much easier Ulster you could say the same Connacht too a little bit when they got another loss against Montpellier but there's still early signs of continuing signs of the Stuart Lancaster attack shape which is to go and play Leinster are still just caught between
It's almost like the head is trying to catch up on the instinct and getting the two of them aligned.
We see flashes of it and then we go, okay, that's really good rugby.
And then you get the yard too deep, yard too flat, inside shoulder, inside pass.
And then everybody panics a little bit and it takes them a little time to get back at it.
So that means to me that they're pointing and shipping in the right direction.
The thing is, can they close that quickly enough?
because everybody else that's in the semifinals is playing a pretty impressive brand of rugby.
It's very probably frustrating for Leo and things.
It's very...
It's very much not about coaching.
It's almost like confidence.
So the confidence in the way they're trying to play, Leinster's confidence isn't there.
To the same extent as other players, because this type of rugby requires passes to go to hand and you need to push passes.
Look at the Bordeaux opening 20 minutes, 25 minutes.
against Toulouse how many passes didn't stick but ultimately Bordeaux didn't go into their shell they kept going they kept pushing passes they kept doing their little kicks they kept doing everything they had the confidence to keep playing and as a result they pulled away from Toulouse Toulouse went to a very direct game really really direct
and Bordeaux had the confidence to keep going so maybe that's more just around confidence in this wider and more ambitious type of game plan because the trade-off is if your pass is to take your higher likelihood of scoring a try but you also then the flip side of you also have a higher likelihood of getting caught in possession isolated on your own
That's the juxtaposition in your head of trying to rationalize this and get it all right in your head so that you're all in the same wavelength, that you know when you decide to go, it's like the team have decided to go for it.
