How sad or how bad do you feel for Billy Gilmore?

Oh, it's heartbreak.

Absolute heartbreak.

Not just for him.

Because you'd imagine that his parents, all his family, they're all geared up to go and support him.

They're all probably booked up for America.

We actually met Billy's father on the plane, that great story that we tell, that I asked him if he had a few tickets for any of the game.

Didn't know it was Billy Gilmore's dad and he was a double and he had Gilmore on his strip.

So maybe a big giveaway there.

But I'm absolutely devastated for a boy.

It'll be a big mistake.

There's no doubt of that.

I was actually sitting, as I was watching it unfold, I was actually sitting there thinking, I would just kid on my knees, actually, okay, to try and get on the plane.

And then if I go over there and I'm not fit, at least I'm with the boys, I'm joining in.

It was, honestly, I just felt for a lad.

Listen, it can happen to anybody.

There are one or two missed Euros before.

So it's unfortunate because tournaments don't come along.

We don't qualify for big, big tournaments.

Under Steve Clarke, we'll start to be a little bit successful.
