Yeah well he's got to change things because the way things are going it's just a matter of time before Celtic open them up and it's 3-0 going on anything they want to go and win the Scottish Cup Gordon so he knows that but he knows that by changing things and going a little bit more
direct attack he needs to get the ball up the pitch they can't get out his defence is under pressure constantly Celtic are playing this cup final at their own pace but if he puts on for instance another attacker to try and get the goal we know what's going to happen Celtic are just going to cut them home it's a massive decision for him and you're right Martin O'Neill probably will be just in that dressing room saying same again and enjoying a cup of tea I mean Brian you don't want to be patronising Sidon Furman but
Yeah, maybe that's the case, Gordon, but from up here, you're looking and you're thinking, right,
I think Neil Lennon would have drummed it into his defenders and his goalkeeper.
Look, we can't be slack at the back because this guy just shuts you down.
He'll put you under pressure.
For me, just put your foot through it and do something.
I do think he tried to almost, but he misses it.
Yeah, it's just, you can't gift it.
And then when it lands to Maeda, now we've seen Maeda sometimes when he's got too much time to think, he seems to mess up.
But he was calm, cool, collective.
and the goalkeeper's in no man's land, and it's the easiest goal made that will score, especially in a cup final, and I said it earlier, Gordon, the belief gives out you as a team, as the underdogs, the belief gives out you, and it showed this afternoon, so it's a big, big job for Neil Lennon just now.
Yeah, I agree with Brian.
I think it's just a case of how many for Celtic today.
You can sum up anyway, I thought all credit to Neil Lennon, he made a lot of changes, three changes at half time and then five, ten minutes into the second half he brought on another sub and credit to them, they put up a fight but only damaged Gordon and the cup was away from them in the first half, they didn't defend properly, Celtic were in cruise land and they punished them.
And went on to 1-3-1 and congratulations to Celtic and Martin O'Neill because I don't think months ago you'd have thought you'd be saying it's a double now for them.
So they've been absolutely brilliant and they'll celebrate well into tonight.
And then all the questions will be asked over a weekend.
Will Martin O'Neill stay on or will there be a new manager coming into the building?
Great afternoon here at Hampden.
