So the corner got taken and got deflected and hit the UAE's player's left arm.
And then basically they kicked the ball out from there, out of the penalty box.
It went up to halfway.
And that's when the VAR intervened.
Extraordinary.
And said it was a handball.
And I didn't even know why.
I'll be honest with you.
I didn't even see the handball because the player was facing away from me.
Our players really, maybe only one player, like put his hand up and appealed for a handball.
But then they intervened and I turned around to my Jocko Kalach and that on the bench who had the iPad and I said, what are they on about?
What's happened?
And then he looked at it and he said, oh, my God, I think it's a handball.
It's a handball.
Oh, it's a handball, Arnie.
I said, no way.
The referee was a Japanese referee.
And he's run over to the, obviously, the VAR machine and looked at it at the screen and looked at it and then gave the penalty.
The roof lifts off.
