Well, if she feels weird to let go of them, change the time of them.
What does that mean?
Well, instead of meeting for drinks, maybe she should meet her friends for lunch or brunch on a weekend.
You know, if you change the format, you don't have the pressure of drinking.
You can have a glass of wine at lunch.
You don't have to have three or four glasses, which you would normally have.
Well, but gossiping is fun unless she doesn't like the conversation or the people anymore.
If she's outgrown them, sometimes you do.
And you have to move on and maybe keep just one out of those friends.
Well, evidently, they don't feel as comfortable as you thought they did with you.
So if those are the kind of relationships perhaps you had in college, now that you're growing up and you're in the workforce or whatever you're doing now, I think it's time to eliminate some of that toxicity.
Toxicity.
