You just may have never heard it framed this way before.

So context rot is when the longer a conversation goes on with the AI, the harder it is to focus on what's really important.

And that is one reason why the first time you prompt the AI, you usually get the best answer you're going to get when you work with it.

So it's why it's usually good to like, hey, instead of continuing a conversation where you left off with special exception, which we'll get into in a minute, it's usually better to just start over and start an entire new chat.

So imagine starting with like a massive prompt that's like, you know, 30,000 words or something like that.

Every time you prompted it, it would be hard for the AI to give you 100% what you want.
