And I didn't mean for all that, you know, take a morbid turn with it.

But it is.

I mean, because that's how, you know, I mean, what is it?

You don't know what you got till it's gone.

You don't ever want to not appreciate things.

But certainly when something or someone is taken from you, it absolutely should light a fire under your butt to make the most of what you have before it is taken.

Because I don't know.

Yeah.

You don't know.

But also, I mean, it's motivation to freaking get after it, dude, and get it done.

Yeah.

And I'll take that, too.

Far more of a drive.

Because whenever I got into the film and the music so early on, I didn't know any different.

You know, just like, okay, cool, this is what I'm doing.

With film, it was always, cool, you're going to audition for this, and if they want you, they want you.

If they don't, you don't.

Or you might get a call out of the blue.

In three years, it says, hey, you got something, and here's what you're doing.

With music, it's very much a grind and a far more foreseeable path.
