You'd be surprised about how many guys want guys accountable.
It's one thing, and it's tolerance and it's production.
Coach Cowher always used to say that to me.
He goes, I'll tolerate anything as long as the guy's productive on the field on Sunday.
The moment his productivity comes down, my tolerance gets lower and lower and lower and lower and lower, and I'm not going to put up with the crap because now all of a sudden that โ
that person is negatively impacting everybody in the locker room.
And I agree with that 100%.
I've always agreed with that.
Yeah.
I mean, Francisco Lindor knew he effed up twice.
He went to Peralta right after and said, you know, I'm sorry, I'm an idiot, the whole thing.
He took accountability after the game.
I just โ you know, he's not a young player.
This was a bad situation.
It looked terrible.
But he is โ this is not commonplace for him.
You know, I don't think that sitting him down tonight in San Francisco is going to do anything.
Or take him out of the game yesterday.
But I just think โ
a very pointed, very adult conversation is required.
