So he's saying that the gap between those guys isn't big enough to... Well, I'm assuming that what he's saying, he may say that he's quarterback number one, but quarterback number one being drafted at 15?

to me, Fernando Mendoza, and I said this to you guys in the middle of the college football season, that the Jets should be thinking about Fernando, if you remember.

And the reason for that was because of the number of the games that he had played early on in the season also, and he got better as the season went on.

Plus, there weren't any other quarterbacks that were really making a name for themselves at that point, and a bunch of the guys that were the top prospects were getting hurt.

You hear a lot about guys talking about what kind of offense did he play at Indiana.

If he goes to the Raiders, which I believe he will, he's going to have a great offense.

He's going to have the Clint Kubiak offense.

That's the Mike Shanahan offense.

That's his dad's offense.

That's running the ball, play action, block it up, throw it down the field, and this kid fits that offense perfectly.

It's not going to be RPOs and all this other crap.

They're not going to want to expose him to all the hits and all that other crap.

They want to protect him.

So I personally think, and I've thought since the middle of the year, that he would be the number one guy taken.

Yeah, and to me, there's really no debate.

And the amount of games he's played, and the fact that, you know, how about that run to win the national championship?

Yeah, it was incredible.

I mean, with a head coach who... For a guy that supposedly can't move, he ran in the game-winning touchdown and broke tackles.
