It used to be in elections, the Republicans and Democrats would fight over who's more tough on crime.

It wasn't a controversy to imprison people for violent crime.

The Democrats deviated from protecting the citizen and became a party that portrays crime as a problem of perception, a problem of racism.

And that's prohibited actual action against some of these youth shooters.

So the gun I noticed I picked up on the gun violence thing right away as well, because that means that they don't have to talk about not incarcerating career criminals.
