You can you can feel it when you listen to the Dems.
If they had to choose between a defeated Iran with millions and millions of citizens no longer under the thumb of a fascist theocracy or an embarrassed Trump with an empowered Iran, they would pick the latter because they don't factor human tragedy when they're feeding their ego.
This is the I need to be right.
It's worse if they're wrong.
I've been thinking about the debate over the war.
And I think Kennedy nails it pretty well.
It isn't whether you agree with it or not, because we're good with both.
No one begrudges whether you disagree or not with the premise.
It's when you're annoying about it.
You know, for example, you can be mad at Trump for going into Iran, but you can still support the troops and want the mission to be successful.
That's actually pretty noble, you know, but hoping it's a disaster because you don't like the decision makes you a douchebag.
Likewise, I would say calling into question someone's patriotism who voices unease with the war.
That's also kind of douchey.
And it's completely appropriate to be uneasy about a war.
But it's what you do with the unease that whether it helps or it doesn't.
