I think when we think about the video game industry, so much of it kind of like just taints the experience where I'm like, man, this thing that brings me pure joy, video games, which have brought me pure joy my entire life, right?
From the moment I remember gaining memory, right?
Like coming into consciousness as I'm playing Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey on the N64.
The thing that has brought me joy my entire life, I am in the midst of playing these two games I'm enjoying so much, and I put down the console, I put down the Switch, I put down the Steam Deck, and I look around and there's fire all around me.
And I'm like, damn, dude.
I don't know.
It bums me out majorly, of course, which is the smallest of things when it comes to the amount of people that might be losing their jobs and people might not be affording things and all this other shit.
But yeah, I think this Xbox thing is like the cherry on top of just a shitty week for video games and a shitty month and a shitty year and a shitty decade so far.
So my feelings.
Have fun, bless.
It's optimistic.
I mean, that's always been my theory is that even if Double Fine gets closed, I think Tim Schafer immediately is like, all right, let's boot up our own business and rehire everybody or at least the people.
I thought Game Pass was the business model.
I don't think so.
I have no... Yeah, I don't...
I don't think we know enough to know anything right now.
Do they know enough?
Does Sharma know enough?
This goes back to the top where Greg was talking about the Sharma quote, specifically the part where the recommitment to Xbox and them talking about essentially putting things back into place is kind of the tone of it.
I'm like, what does that mean?
