Oh, my God. Number one on the Roper Report. Leaked images suggest the Oblivion remaster is coming soon. This is Ash Parrish at The Verge. Super chat question for you. What are your hype levels for the Oblivion remastered? I keep thinking of Oblivion like I'm a grandmother, but you know what I mean. Oblivion remastered. In Elder Scrolls IV, Oblivion remastered announcement seems imminent.

Those documents were part of Microsoft's presentation on its then-pending acquisition of ZeniMax Studios, which the company bought in 2021 for $7.5 billion dollars. Other games from that presentation included a Fallout 3 remaster, another game in the Dishonored franchise, and something known as Doom Year Zero, which very much sounds like Doom the Dark Ages, which launches in May.

According to reporting from The Verge's Tom Warren, Microsoft planned to release the remaster sometime late spring or early summer. Journalist and insider Jeff Grubb similarly reports that Microsoft intended to stealth release the game sometime next week. Next week. You and I talked about this at length the last time this came around, right? Of like, if you're doing this, when are you doing this?

How are you doing this? Would you just put it out? Because the conversation last time you and I had this on Games Daily was about, well, how big is this? Is it a remake or is it a remaster? And does that influence how you would market and release?

I was going to say, as someone who just launched an Elder Scrolls Online podcast last week, I can tell you many commenters are very excited for an Oblivion remastered. Really? Yeah. First off, thank you all for supporting that show. We haven't talked about it. Fantastic from the Kind of Funny community and the Elder Scrolls community.

If I was to say there were negative comments, which there really weren't, but they would be people just saying, release Oblivion now, Oblivion remake. That was like the one thing you saw in there in comments or whatever. Yeah. The whole thing is still perplexing. Especially because this isn't the announcement of it.
