Like, that is an IP that is popular enough, but then also family-friendly enough that we can find different things to do with it, whether it's a multiplayer thing or a LEGO thing, right? But... Go for it.
And to jump off of that, I think that's because Horizon was the wrong IP to put into a Lego game.

That's the problem. At a certain point, there is a ship of theseus that happens of the fans who love Horizon. Why do they love Horizon? Is that going to translate into them liking a Horizon Lego game? For me, I love Horizon. I know Jada Garcia and Greg Miller love Horizon Zero Dawn. I think a lot of us actually love Horizon, the world and the game. But do we care about a Horizon Lego game?

That's something that I think you are making to appeal to kids. But do kids like Horizon? I don't think so. I think the kids are liking Astro Bot. I think the more you're able to pursue IP that feels a bit more catered to family audiences, that then opens you up to do more with that IP. For example, I would never make a Horizon racing game. Like a Horizon kart racer, specifically, I should say.

Forza Horizon. God damn it.
Forza Horizon. God damn it.
Thank you. I would never make a Horizon kart racer. I would never make a Horizon 2D platformer. Maybe if you put it in Lego, you can get away with those things, but I don't think that makes sense. What I do think makes sense is maybe you can make a PlayStation racer with Astro Bot as the characters. You can make an Astro Bot racer. Or a Sackboy. Or a Sackboy thing. Or an Astro Bot 2D platformer.

And, like, you can adapt those things into kids' shows. Like, I think having more family-directed content and IP opens that door up to, like, so many different things as far as, like, yeah, movies, TV, like, all that shit just for different audiences. Yeah.

That's a really good question.
That's a really good question.
I like that question a lot. The unfortunate thing is my brain immediately goes to partnerships. And I say unfortunate because I think there's an identification of... We expect the best of the best from PlayStation Studios, right? First party PlayStation Studios. But to your point, the reality is that, guess what? Naughty Dog is working on Intergalactic.

Gorilla is working on probably the next Horizon thing, right? Sucker Punch is working on Ghost of Yotei. Those studios are taken up with projects already that are on the more mature leading side. So if I'm PlayStation, I am looking at the studio that made Sackboy a big adventure. I'm looking at Sumo Digital and being like,

Yo, all right, what can you do with either Sackboy or another one of our family-friendly IPs that maybe we already have? Maybe I'm looking at a third-party studio that we're not thinking of and going, make something new for us.
