He has more variety.
So that's a good thing.
Federer is one of the most beautiful artists playing, and he originally was a serve and volley tennis player when he beat Sampras at Wimbledon when we saw the passing of the torch from Sampras to Federer.
But then he's become more of a baseliner and a complete player because of the way the court conditions have become.
So I think, you know, I'm just sad not to see it.
In the women's game, you don't see one player serve and volley, and Martina was my hero growing up.
You know, you look at the past, Billie Jean King, players of that stature doing that.
They had that sort of thing.
And I miss that.
I love to watch old matches and reminisce.
Because I knew how to manage it.
So I had a very good slice backhand from the back of the court.
I would be on full-out attack all the time.
So if I got a second serve, I was chipping and charging, coming to the net, say, pass me.
And I'd come to the net 200 times.
And if he passed me 99 times and I won 101 points, I would win.
So I was forcing the pressure on the person.
With these slower courts, you wouldn't be able to do it.
With the technology of the string, my topspin backhand would have been better.
But the other advantage I had...
