So I become like a bartender at a nightclub, which is the perfect place for somebody with debilitating substance abuse problems.
But in my mind, you know, I I didn't.
I got to live my life kind of getting girls easily and partying all the time because of money.
If you take away the money, what's the funnest thing I can do if I don't have money anymore?
So I go bartend.
I'm still in my 20s.
I was having a good time.
But I wish, believe me, I wish leaving that program was the last time I ever picked up a drug or a drink.
But...
While I was bartending, you know, again, I was in my late 20s.
And one of the girls, they made a joke.
Like, and I don't know why it stuck with me.
But, you know, the girls working there were all 22.
It was hostesses.
It was whatever.
And everybody was in their early 20s.
And then there was me.
And, I mean, if you just look at all of us, it doesn't, like, stick out.
Like, hey, that guy's older.
But, you know, they were kind of...
