Just on that Rangers point, Roger, I think we're now just almost waiting for confirmation now to see exactly whether
Has it surprised you the way it's unfolded just the fact that Danny Rowe came in not all that long ago got the backing from Andrew Kavanagh just a few weeks ago it seemed as if he was going to be in charge and all of a sudden Derek McInnes who had such a good season with Hearts is now switching over and joining Lauren Shankland at Ibrox?
Andy is a Rangers fan in Finiston.
I think you've got points on both Rangers and Scotland, Andy.
We'll start with Rangers.
How are you feeling about those two moves?
Danny Rule out, Derek McKenna's in.
There's been a, you know, people have talked about, Roger, the fact that Danny Rowe got that backing a few weeks ago.
But as soon as the interest came in from RB Salzburg, it doesn't look as if Rangers were really putting up much of a fight to keep a hold of him, did they?
use that quite often when it comes to Celtic and Rangers about managers and players the fact that if they've been in that goldfish bowl they know what it takes as a player do you think have you seen the differences of managers coming in does it matter all that much is it just a case by case basis
Andy, when you look at Laurence Shankland, the fact that he is there and is linking up with Derek McInnes again, Shankland was prolific last season.
He was a talismanic figure for Hearts when they came so close to winning the title.
Do you hope that that's a partnership, a manager-striker pairing that can work really well again for Rangers?
We had a few callers on Greg when Lauren Shanklin first signed for Rangers and James Tavernier had not long left and the Rangers captain's armband is vacant but Lauren Shanklin being the Hearts captain under Derek McInnes could you see that maybe being a natural progression him potentially taking the armband?
Do you think there will be that Scottish core?
It was something that Andrew Kavanagh talked about.
He said that there will be a Scottish bias, if you like, in the transfer market.
It's almost as if there's been a Scottish bias when it comes to in the dugout because it looks as if he's now preferring Derek McInnes to... And it's something that Derek McInnes has bought into over the years because he's not... Apart from his time at heart, he hasn't really gone onto the continent and bought many players.
Was that interesting for you being on the other side of that, taking your first venture abroad and you being in the Celtic dressing room, the Kilmarnock dressing room over the years, seeing these guys come in, having to play a big part in them settling in and then being on the other side of that over in Greece?
Very basic Don't worry I won't ask you to say anything Andy have you got a point on Scotland you wanted to make?
