And he's given us the most superficial answers to that question.
Maybe he doesn't even know the answer to the question.
I don't know.
But I feel there is something bubbling under the surface that we're not going to be able to tap into.
Maybe not even after the playoffs because he's different.
He's different, and it can't just be the Toronto media, and it just can't be the fans.
No, it's not.
It's not.
You know what?
Adam Oates.
What's your theory?
He's right.
I went back and watched a clip of us talking about Mitch and his future in the NHL before we found out that he was going to be a Golden Knight.
And it's funny because we did mention Vegas as one of the teams that fit this category.
But you and I talked about the fact that he needed to go to some place where there was already a culture of winning.
There was already people in the room that have won.
There are players that are as good or maybe better than him, and there were a few places that we mentioned, but Vegas was one of them because when he walks into that room, he sees Eichel, and he sees Barbashev, and he sees the defensemen, and he sees all the guys that have won before, and he walks into a room that has culture, whether it was Cassidy there or Torts there, and he kind of fits into what they do versus having to be the guy that establishes what they do.
And like you said, there's a huge...
Huge difference between those two things for Mitch.
