Why would Miami be a place you would go to?

They don't even have anybody under contract except for Mario Chalmers, who believes the team was built around him because he was the only player who was still under contract.

We started to get all these people tell us why Miami is a poor option.

And what has happened now over probably the last 48 hours, it feels like everyone's coming out.

which really means that they know Giannis Tamami is going to happen.

I said everybody's coming out, and then I stopped that thought, and I added extra context, and now I'm going to circle back, all right?

Everybody started to come out with all the reasons that Miami is a terrible option, and it should be Boston.

Even though you have people tell you, oh, it's Miami and it's Boston, although I don't really know if Boston's even involved, but it's Miami and Boston.

The reason?

Because it needs to be anybody other than Miami.

That's exactly right.

Like, I think at this point, it's clear that the national media is concerned about Giannis ending up in Miami.

It's happening again.

And whether or not he actually does is besides the point.

The point is that these national media folks are doing every single thing that they can to will it to not happen.
