Like, that's the thing.

People are so hung up on, like, words and language personifying people how they perceive them.

And...

I think I don't know when you like when you're sheltered and you're only exposed to like like an echo chamber of like Fox News and your own thoughts like it makes sense that the minute you turn out that way.

Yeah.

But also like like don't be so afraid of something that you don't understand.

Truly.

And also, like, I think it takes just, like, a really basic sense of compassion to meet somebody, have them tell you, like, I would like to be called this and referred to by this and then do it.

Like, that seems like a, like, I don't know.

I feel like it takes more energy to defy that.

Yeah.

It's so hell bent on, like, reinforcing these norms that were, like, hammered into your head over time.

But then you, like, you leave your bubble.

You see, like, culture that, like, is not the same as your own and you freak out.

There's legislation, U.S.

legislation that uses the word Indian.

I'm like, what does it have to do with India?

My point is you leave your bubble and you just throw your perspective of what's happening and label it.

You're almost always wrong.

It really never works out.
