Supplemental Nutritional Assistance, Veterans Benefits, and, of course, the Affordable Care Act.
And what unites Democrats at this particular point in time is the fact that Republicans are assaulting the floor that we should have for everyday Americans while at the same time rewarding their billionaire donors and, by the way, in doing so, skyrocketing the debt by more than $3 trillion in such a fiscally irresponsible fashion.
We're in the middle of a government shutdown.
People are being hurt all across the country because Trump and Republicans decided to shut down the government rather than provide health care to working class Americans.
And so what I've indicated, particularly most recently when Mayor Adams decided that he wouldn't seek reelection, is that I will have more to say about the mayor's race in advance of early voting in New York City, which begins at the end of this month.
KyllÀ, he ovat uudelleen tutkijat Distractionista ja Red Herringsista. TÀmÀ ei ole mitÀÀn EppsteinistÀ. TÀmÀ on jÀrjestelmÀ. Kun demokraatit voittavat uudelleen hallituksen, me tulemme takaisin jÀrjestelmÀÀn ja sessioon. MinÀ olen varma, ettÀ ensimmÀisenÀ tehtÀvÀmme on jÀrjestelmÀÀn uudelleen valinnan jÀrjestelmÀÀn.
This is just a matter of the schedule. In a pro forma session, no one's there in the chamber. It's literally sometimes three or four people. You have a clerk and whomever is serving as the interim speaker. They bang the gavel in, they say the pledge and they bang the gavel out. That's it. It's just to keep Congress functioning. It's a tradition of the institution. But we'll do it right and do it in the right way as soon as everybody gets back here.
Hieno kysymys.

These extremists don't even want to show up to work when they're requiring...
hardworking federal employees to show up to work without pay because of the Republican shutdown.
We just need a stopgap measure to give us a little more time to get the job of Congress done.
They refuse to do it because they're playing politics.
The House Republican partisan spending bill is a dirty piece of legislation that continues to gut the health care of the American people.
And it's riddled with toxic right wing Republican priorities because it's connected to a March spending bill that Democrats in the House uniformly rejected.
And we rejected it significantly because of the fact that it was an attack on veterans, an attack on children, an attack on housing affordability, and certainly was an attack on health care at the time, in Novemberâexcuse me, in March of last year.
And now they just want to continue that.
So it's irresponsible, in our view, for Republicans in the House to continue to insist that they aren't trying to advance their own extreme right-wing priorities.
Of course that's what they're trying to do.
They've been doing it all year.
