maybe yell at me for this take, but I think that there's... I think that you can learn from these things.
And I think that, like, following... Like, a person following their curiosity, like your daughter arguing with Gemini, is a good use case.
It's like... And I think that probably...
It'll be interesting to see how it goes, but probably the Conmigo tool will be able to do its job and help understand what students are getting wrong and be something of a distributed tutor.
What we know is that one-on-one tutoring works really well.
A thing that actually understands what you're getting and what you're not getting is valuable, and it's hard to understand.
I choked on this as I said it, hard to scale.
Because of course, what is education but scaling that very thing?
What is like the school but scaling that thing?
And so like in the same way that I like, I think that we have to figure out how all of these things plug into each other and also like new things.
Like textbooks used to be a technology.
They are a technology, but they used to be a brand spanking new, like hot off the presses, nobody had ever seen it technology.
And teachers were scared that textbooks were going to take away their jobs because why would you need a teacher if you had the book that has all the information in it?
I think that we are going to be in a similar situation.
Will Conmigo be able to provide the human connection?
I hope not.
The human connection of motivation, of care, of connection that a human teacher does?
No, I don't think that it will and I don't think that it should.
Will Conmigo be able to like say like, oh, I see, you know, I see how you how you misunderstood like the shape of this triangle or whatever.
I don't know how math teaching works.
