And that marketing, was there a lot of discussion about how you would actually market the subscription product?
Or was it just like, let's make this available.
We'll pop a bumper on the end of the videos and people will go sign up.
That sounds familiar.
So it turns out you did have a marketing vehicle eventually arrived.
But this did not end up being a successful thing for the people at IAC and College Humor.
And IAC is like a big media conglomerate.
They don't like people.
They own a bunch of magazines and TV shows, TV channels.
Man.
And so you came with all your big pile of money that you somehow had and you just said, hey, I'm going to buy it.
Hey, what's that?
You got a cigar, backroom deals.
No, this is the weirdest part of the story for me.
So you did not, in fact, go to them with a bunch of money to acquire Dropout.
