Well, so he actually chose not to.

I hate that I'm saying this, but I did read an entire feature on Mac McClung today, and it kind of sucks.

He basically decided not to do it because he's been almost boxed into being the dunk guy, and it talked about his journey.

Being in G League, being in two way contracts, how after he won the first one, you know, Reggie Miller was saying, you know, give this guy a contract.

And his his mom was talking to Adam Silver.

He said, hey, this is finally going to be the moment.

None of that happened.

And after three in a row, he was like, this is not going to help me get a contract.

Then you just keep working on my game.

So I actually feel bad for he's become a prisoner of the dunk.

Yeah, but it's happened multiple times in his career because he said in college he didn't dunk for an entire year because everyone wanted to talk about his dunks.

Right.

But still, I think this show more than maybe any other show has talked about Mac McClung outside of the dunk contest.

probably more than every other sports podcast combined.

Yeah.

He should be on an act.

He should be playing in the NBA.

But I especially need him during the dunk contest.
